Try out Cognition Flex, a new experimental training app from Cognition Matters

Vektor - a magical math training

Cognition Matters has previously released the research-based, math training app Vektor. Since fall of 2016, it has been used by tens of thousands of six-year olds in Sweden. On average the children has progressed close to one standard deviation, which usually takes about a year of traditional education. The response has been very positive from both children and teachers.

Cognition Flex - a free experiment

Since the launch of Vektor, we have had requests from teachers to release a training tool where children can choose which tasks to focus on, rather than go through a pre-specified 40-day plan. This can be useful, for example, for an older child that wants to work extra specifically with the numberline, but not with cognitive training, or the other way around.

What does experimental mean?

While the exercises in this new app are almost identical to the exercises in Vektor, we have NOT done any scientific studies using this app. More importantly: Cognition Flex allows the users to choose exercises in any order they want and lacks the training control mechanisms present in the Vektor training app.
Since Cognition Matters takes research seriously, we dont make any scientific claim that training with this product will give any effect. This version of the app and the free training concept is not validated, and should only be used by people that are curious about Cognition Matters training and challenge themselves.
